Starship Righteous was given it's proud name from the game Star Trek BORG by Simon & Schuster Interactive, who also authorized an audio book to be made from it by Hillary Bader.

It was later turned into an E-Mail Roll Playing Game (ERPG) by DJ Sean, who is the head DJ for the popular Internet Radio Station WFTP Radio Network, and the author of this website.  We are the first and only Star Trek E-Mail Role Playing Game that implements about 320 out of 380 species listed in the Star Trek Alien Database found HERE.  Plus a few that we made up.

"From 1999 to about 2002, I participated in a Star Trek ERPG called SOULTREK in which I used Jake Arrington, our main character we now use on the Starship Righteous here in our new ERPG.  He started out as a Lieutenant and Chief Of Security on their USS Independence which was the flag ship of their fleet.  I used the same story line from Star Trek BORG in my first post to establish my character, telling the story of how he came to be on board that ship, but they chopped the post up too much due to legal stuff, so it didn't really tell the whole story good enough.  Jake Arrington later became the Captain of his own ship.  He was supposed to only be the first officer, but the person they had as the Captain of that particular ship at the time had quit or something, so they threw me into the Captain's char and I didn't quite know what to do.  I made 1 single mistake and messed up somebody's post and it crossed with someone else's and screwed it all up, and they bitched and complained at me, so I told them where they could stick it, and offered to give them detailed written instructions, and I quit, and later made my own ERPG.  They killed off Jake Arrington like a bunch of pricks, so I decided to use him here.  I later tried to go back to them out of boredom or something a few years ago, but they refused to let me use my old character and said they killed him off, so I gave up and here we are." - DJ Sean

DJ Sean and his wife DJ Leeanne now reside in St. Joe Arkansas with their 2 children Gabriel and Daryll, and are living the happy life as they continue to support Internet Radio, and ERPG's as well as their own.
